Prelims conducted at Kairali School : A great success

We are gaining in enthusiasm as prelims are getting over one by one. Prelims at Kairali school was conducted in a very systematic manner and it was great to see the arrangements provided by the esteemed educational organisation.
At the end of the day, we again got some brilliant quizzers with great quizzing spirit. The marks difference was again negligible between the selected and the not selected ones. Ranchi is really growing intelligent day by day. The day is not far when Ranchi will be known for its education.
Coming back to the point, tomorrow is going to be a real busy day with three prelims in hand at various venues. Finale is going to be a crazy one for sure. We have accumulated some of the best minds in the city and will allow them to face each other on the day of finale.Lets see who claims to have the best mind!

Results will hopefully be published by tomorow. We also conducted a survey as a part of a psyche analysis programme.

Prelims Conducted at JVM, Shyamli

We are extremely happy to say that one of our many prelims was conducted in JVM, Shyamli on 04-07-2012. It was a great success and we were surprised to see the overwhelming response from the future brains of India. It was remarkable to see the competitive spirit within them and the desire for getting qualified for the finale.
The performance of the applicants was found to be very good, in fact, beyond expactations. We are in a great dilemma about what should we do since there are many who have scored great marks in the test and definitely deserve to qualify. We definitely are keeping in mind that we may have to increase the number of qualified teams because we cannot do injustice to teams scoring great marks and yet not getting a place in the finale.
We were also happy to see the response from the girls of JVM, Shyamli, who took part in large numbers, proving that quizzing is no longer a male dominated competition.
We definitely look forward to conduct our next round of prelims on 05-07-2012 in JVM, Shyamli itself for +2 students of the same school. Lets hope for the best.

LOGIC GATE

LOGIC GATE

WE

We are a group of zealous students on an endeavour to do our bit in moving the society towards a brighter tomorrow. Having been on the other side of the competitive fire, and getting the better of it, we are here to share our experiences with our juniors and to provide them with the necessary armoury to face the Brisingr.

Why we decided to form LOGIC GATE?

What is success? Success is the progressive realisation of a predefined goal. In this era of competitive world, the competition is getting tougher and more difficult. The reason for this is the large increase in the number of students every year. Several students are not going to survive in this deathly race. They will get crushed under the weights of pressure and huge loads of expectations. Even the students who have enough talent to cross this barrier have enormous amounts of fear, tension in their minds. They need some kind of motivation and support to continue to fight in the competition.
We are here to help them out. We are the students who have already crossed the competitive barrier and have already gone through the various stages of competition. After having spent a few years inside the competitive field, we decided to share our experiences with our fellow students. We realised that it is we who would be most effective in removing their fear, tension so that they can face the competition easily. In this regard, we decided that it is necessary to first select the students who just need the slight push to be able to bravely face the storm.
We have a unique way of testing the students. We have an unconventional approach towards this. Students of the current era are generally engaged in improving their skills in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. But they lack skills in the analytical knowledge. We are going to test the students in respect of their aptitude, intelligent quotient, general awareness and non-technical knowledge.
A talented student just needs a spark to explode and be the winner. We are here to give that spark to those students. LOGIC GATE does the same by selecting the young talents and motivating them so that they have the edge over others in this race. Logic gate provides them the necessary qualities to make their path easier. Interacting with these young talents would also help us in several ways. We ourselves will have a great learning experience too.
This has resulted in the realisation of LOGIC GATE.

Objectives

  • To clear the numerous myths about JEE and other entrance examinations
  • To test the aptitude of the students in multiple disciplines
  • To make them aware of the magnitude of competition in the real world
  • To identify hidden talent and nurture it
  • To inspire them towards other unconventional fields
  • To make students mentally strong so that they come out with flying colors
  • To organize competitions to create general awareness among students

What Logic Gate does?

The present world is neck deep in the rat race of almost life threatening competition. As such, it is a hard nut for students to choose any unconventional career. Also, the severe dearth of organizations in this field makes it difficult for the students to gauge their actual performance in these fields. Hence it is imperative that there be groups which serve to fill this niche in society. We have come forward for this purpose and will implement in the following ways:-

Action Plan

  • Quiz Competition
  1. Quiz competitions go a long way in creating general awareness. Trackers of news in the present world very often turn out to be news makers in future.
  2. The Quiz will be general in nature and is divided in two rounds: Prelims and Finale.
  3. Prelims will be organized in all the major schools of Ranchi, winners of which would meet in the mega finale.
  4. The prelims would be a written round, in which teams (consisting of a maximum of three members) would battle out each other to reach the finale.
  5. The finale will be held at a neutral venue, to be announced later.
  • Aptitude test
  1. A multi-disciplinary aptitude test is complimentary to the seminar
  2. The aptitude test will come a long way in the decision of the careers chosen by students.
  3. The aptitude test will consist of IQ test, mental ability test and general awareness test among others.

Benefits of Logic Gate for students

  • Help them clear the myths about entrance examinations,
  • Test their aptitude in multiple disciplines,
  • Make them aware of the magnitude of competition in the real world,
  • Help them identify their hidden talent,
  • Help them increase their mentally strength.

IMPULSE 1.0

Impulse 1.0 organized last year was a roaring success with participation from more than 2500 students. With event coverage in important newspapers like Dainik Bhaskar (Media Partner), The Telegraph, Prabhat Khabar and Dainik Jaigran, Logic Gate’s efforts were lauded by teachers, media personalities and sponsors alike. The event was honoured by the presence of Conservator of Forest and Member Secretary, Central Zoo Authority, Mr. Priyesh Kumar Verma.
